Klay Thompson's Road to Recovery: Update on Game 11 Status

Continued Progress for Golden State Warriors Star

Thompson Expected to Miss Game 11 of NBA Playoffs

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson is progressing in his recovery from a torn ACL, but will not be available for Game 11 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns.

Thompson has been ruled out of the game, which will be played on Friday, May 28th, at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. This will be the 11th game that Thompson has missed since suffering the injury in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

Despite his absence, the Warriors have persevered and advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the sixth consecutive season. Thompson's return will be a significant boost to the Warriors' championship aspirations, as he is one of the league's elite perimeter players.

Thompson, a five-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion, is averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this season. He is also shooting 40.2% from three-point range.

The Warriors are expected to provide another update on Thompson's status following Game 11 of the Western Conference Finals.
